Summary
The relationship between Atticus Cody and his son Scott has long been troubled and distant. Twelve years ago, Atticus' wife was tragically killed in an accident when Scott lost control of his car. Despite a great and abiding love for his son, Atticus has found it difficult to express his forgiveness. When he learns of his son's suspicious death in a remote Mexican village, Atticus hastily departs his Colorado ranch to investigate. The polic think Scott took his own life, but the evidence does't convince Atticus. certain that his son has been m;urdered, he is determined to bring the killer to justice
