Summary
"Relying on hard work and perseverance, C.B. Clark transformed himself from being poverty stricken to having extreme wealth in one short lifetime. When yet a child, he left New York for Wisconsin, in search of his fortune. In 1862, C.B. Clark enlisted in the Civil War. He systematically moved up through the ranks and by the end of the war, was in command of his own Company. C.B. Clark was also a talented businessman. He was one of the founders of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, which is presently, solidly in the top half of the Fortune 500 list. C.B. Clark followed politics his entire life and eventually entered the area himself, though reluctantly. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and the U.S. House of Representatives."--Back cover
