Summary
The history, traditions and geography of Korea are illuminated in this program about the Korean cultural heritage and immigration to America. Children learn how to say a few words in the Korean language, learn how to make a traditional Korean kite and visit Koreatown in Los Angeles, where just about anything Korean -- from spicy meats and vegetables to sweets and movies -- can be found. They'll also enjoy the animated folktale titled The Magic Gourd, and sing the chorus in a folk song about love called "Arirang."
