Summary

Amos Walker is hired by Heloise and Dante Gunnar, a bohemian Ann Arbor couple, to find Jerry Marcus, a film director who disappeared with their investment money. It's one of Walker's easiest jobs: a few hours later, Walker locates Marcus--his body shoved into a bedroom cupboard, a bullet through his head.
